Clearpool offers community groups and the public a host of hands-on exploration and skill-building programs and events focused on environmental exploration and sustainability. Take advantage of year-round opportunities to experience nature in our unique environmental exploration setting and learn to be a true steward of the environment! Families, adult groups, nonprofit organizations, and corporations are invited to participate in our wide range of outdoor education activities:
Advance registration is required for all events. Please note costs and equipment or attire information for some activities. Activities may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. Cancellation will be determined the day before a weekday event, and by 4pm on the Friday before weekend events. Please visit the appropriate program page to check for schedule changes, unless otherwise notified.
The Clearpool trail system consists of more than five miles of mapped trails, open to the public Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Some trails meander along the lake, others climb to the top of the hills with views of the surrounding watersheds. During a walk one might hear red-winged black birds, pileated woodpeckers or chickadees. Trees, shrubs, mosses, rock formations, deer, and more await the quiet forest explorer.
