Connect with the great outdoors through fun, environmental education activities for the whole family!

The Clearpool Weekend Nature Series is your opportunity to experience 350 acres of natural woodlands and learn exciting new outdoor skills, with a focus on sustainability and fun. Weekend recreation and education programs are great for families, environmental enthusiasts, adult groups, non-profit organizations, corporations and anyone who wants to participate in our wide range of outdoor environmental education activities.

Space is limited, advance registration is required.

October 9
Pasta with a Purpose
Bring the family to Clearpool for a spaghetti dinner full of game and camp memories. All proceeds will go toward Green Chimneys Summer Camps scholarship program which supports local families that would otherwise not be able to send their child to camp.

November 19-20
Father-Son Weekend
Dads can slow down and enjoy quality time with their sons while participating in outdoor adventures together. Experienced facilitators will guide groups in activities including hiking, primitive skills, fishing, ropes courses and more!

February 20-21
Kids Winter Camp  9:00am-4:30pm daily
Give your child a great camp experience during the holiday break! A two-day program features winter sports, eco-discovery and hands-on activities for children and teens grades K-8.

March 12
Annual Maple Sugaring & Pancake Breakfast  10:00am-2:00pm
February through March is the best time for making maple syrup and we are chock-full of native sugar maples! See a live demonstration of the sugaring process and enjoy a hearty breakfast.

April 1-2
Mother-Daughter Weekend
A weekend retreat for moms and their girls filled with exciting outdoor activities. Experienced facilitators will guide groups in activities including hiking, wilderness skills, nature crafts, boating, ropes courses and more!

April 8 (Rain date April 9)
Family Camp 9:30am-4:00pm
Experience camp together as a family! Join us for a day filled with traditional camp activities and the opportunity to share quality time outdoors. This is a day to come “play” and see what camp is all about. If you are already a Clearpool camp family or new to Green Chimneys Summer Camps, this is going to be a memorable day. Activities include high ropes (age 7 and up), hiking, boating, outdoor cooking, farm visit, arts & crafts, frog catching, camp games and more!

April 10 - April 14 and April 17
Spring Break Camp 9:00am-4:30pm daily
Give your child a great camp experience during spring break! A week-long program features adventure, outdoor exploration, Native American-inspired activities, and more for children and teens ages 5-14.

May 19
Spark a Camp Memory: Family Campfire  7:00-8:30pm
Bring the family and gather 'round our signature campfire for a fun evening of singing, dancing and s'mores! All proceeds will go toward our summer camp scholarship program to support local families that otherwise would not be able to send their child to camp.
